I-WHO yeluleka ukuthi kungasetshenziswa izithambisi ezingezona ushukela ukuze kulawulwe isisindo

I-World Health Organization (WHO) ikhiphe isiqondiso esincoma ukusetshenziswa kwezithambisi-shukela ezingezona ushukela (NSS) ukuze kulawulwe isisindo.

I-NSS iyindlela engabizi kakhulu noma engenawo amakhalori amaningi esikhundleni sikashukela wamahhala futhi ivame ukudayiswa, ngokusho kwe-WHO, njengosizo lokwehlisa isisindo noma ukugcina isisindo esinempilo. Ivame ukunconywa njengendlela engabizi yokulawula ushukela wegazi kubantu abanesifo sikashukela.

Isincomo se-WHO sisekelwe ekutholakaleni kokubuyekezwa okuhlelekile kobufakazi obusikisela ukuthi ukusetshenziswa kwe-NSS akunikezi nzuzo yesikhathi eside ekunciphiseni amafutha emzimbeni kubantu abadala noma ezinganeni.

Lesi siqondiso siphinde sikweluleke ukusebenzisa i-NSS njengendlela yokunciphisa ingozi yezifo ezingathelelani.

UFrancesco Branca, umqondisi we-WHO wokudla okunempilo nokuphepha kokudla, uthe: “Ukufaka esikhundleni ushukela okhululekile nge-NSS akusizi ekulawuleni isisindo isikhathi eside. I-NSS evamile ihlanganisa i-saccharin, i-sucralose, i-stevia, i-acesulfame K, i-aspartame, i-advantame, i-cyclamates, i-neotame kanye ne-stevia derivatives.

Lesi sincomo asisebenzi kushukela onamakhalori aphansi kanye notshwala obushukela (ama-polyol), okungushukela noma izinto ezisuselwa kushukela eziqukethe amakhalori futhi ezingabhekwa njenge-NSS.
